He commanded a unit of pilots known as âThe Flying Circusâ, many of whom he personally trained (including his own brother Lothar) who were by far the most feared German air unit. The reason for this is that there is not only plenty of money in this field, but also thrills. He remains the only Indian fighter ace to this day. Israeli fighter pilots are considered the best trained in the world, and Israel maintains a special training program, complete with pilots trained and equipped to operate as likely foes would, to train their own pilots.
